About The Tree Connection, Inc.

Jim and Diana Matusik formed The Tree Connection, Inc., a wholesale nursery stock distribution company, to begin operations in October 2003. The purpose of the company is to procure and distribute the finest quality nursery stock from various growers on the East and West Coasts, in Michigan and North Carolina to accounts in the Mid West market. These accounts consist of garden centers, nurseries and landscape companies.

Jim first began working in the Nursery Industry in 1986, and over the years has worked in many aspects of the industry. He started out working in lawn maintenance and installation and moved his way into the sales force. He has forged solid relationships with his customers, many of whom have been buying from him for the past twenty-five years. The Tree Connection, Inc. was created as a result of these strong relationships.

While Jim continues his sales position with The Tree Connection, Inc., Diana will be responsible for the financial aspects of the business. Diana’s background includes earning a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan and passing the CPA Exam.
